National Conference for Aspiring Surgeons 2016

posted 19 Jan 2016, 14:08 by Bristol Scrubs

We are extremely pleased to announce the 5th annual National Conference for Aspiring Surgeons led by SCRUBS and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

The 2016 conference will be held at School of Chemistry at University of Bristol on Saturday 27th February aimed at medical students and foundation doctors interested in pursuing a career in Surgery.

We understand that this dates clashes with the careers fayre, however due to planning since August we cannot change the date. Therefore, we do not mind if delegates sign in on the morning of the conference and pop over to the careers fayre if absolutely necessary.

Now accepting abstract submissions until 14th February 2016.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in presenting where feedback from judges will be available. There will be opportunities for discussion with consultant surgeons and with College representatives about a career in surgery.

The cost to attend is £10 for presenters and £5 for non-presenters, which includes lunch and refreshments.

Certificates will be awarded to presenters and attendees and prizes will also be rewarded.

Submit abstracts and register here:…/courses-and-e…/coursedetails.aspx…
