RCSEd Student Surgical Skills Competition

Following the overwhelming success of the 2011/2012 Lister Surgical Skills Competition, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is delighted to announce the launch of the 2012/2013 Surgical Skills Competition.
 
This nationwide competition will give aspiring surgeons in their 4th or 5th year of UK medical school an opportunity to practise and compete in a range of surgical challenges, from suturing and knot-tying to undertaking key-hole surgery skills tests. There are 20 places available in each heat. The winner of each heat will progress to the grand final to be held in Edinburgh in March 2013 (all expenses covered) for a chance to be crowned overall winner and to win a trip to the famous Johnson and Johnson surgical institute in Hamburg.
